After Reto Suri and Dominic Lammer, the Hockey Club Lugano has the pleasure to announce a third new arrival for the offense. It’s the “right” winger Sandro Zangger, born in Jona 27.08.1994. He’s currently playing with Lausanne, and he signed a two-years contract (2019/2020, 2020/2021).
Zangger (184 cm. x 88 kg.) grew up in the Rapperswil’s Youth sector before his transfer to ZSC Lions. He played for GCK Lions winning the Novizi Elite’s title and three time the Juniores Elite title, playing for the U18 and U20 Swiss National team.
After two season where he played both for ZSC Lions and GCK Lions he changed jersey and layed for Zug until 2017.
In his career in National league Zangger played 267 games scoring 88 points (38 goals, 50 assists).
