TheHockey Club Lugano adds an important new instrument to its orchestra of the near future.
Indeed, the bianconera club has signed a three-year agreement, valid for the 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, with forward Marco Müller, born in Zuchwil on 21.01.1994.
A player capable of playing both wing and centre, Müller ('left', 174 cm. x 81 kg.) distinguished himself at a young age with the colours of Berne, with whom he won the national title in both the U17 category (two rounds) and the U20 category.
After wearing the Bears' first-team jersey until the end of the 2016/17 season, contributing to the winning of two championships (2016 and 2017), the Solothurn striker played an important role in Ambrì Piotta for four years, where he highlighted his offensive skills.
The Leventinese adventure ended last spring with a transfer to Zug. With the reigning Swiss champions Müller played 27 games this season with a haul of 16 points.
In total, he took to the ice 368 times at National League, collecting 61 goals and 81 assists.
In his career, Müller has also played in both the U18 and U20 World Cups, also wearing the jersey of the top Swiss representative team nine times.
These are the words of GM Hnat Domenichelli:
"We are very happy to have reached an agreement with Marco for the next three championships. He is a forward who will be part of the first two offensive lines of our team, because he can play both centre and wing. We are looking forward to having him in our ranks."
