The first team and staff ofHockey Club Lugano, accompanied by the U17 Elit and U20 Elit formations, will participate again this year in the traditional Procession of Authorities and City Associations on August 1.
Meeting point for fans. bianconeri, before the departure of the parade from Via Nassa at 8:45 p.m., will as always be the Battaglini Square where, as early as late afternoon on Monday, July 31, the DNA Grottino Bianconero & Events will be in operation.
After the first week of August devoted as usual to various medical tests, physical tests and photoshooting appointments, the first team practice on the ice at Cornèr Arena is set for Monday, Aug. 7 at 10:15 a.m.
But the first real moment of sharing between the team and the people bianconero will be on Saturday, August 12, starting at 10 a.m.
Welcomed by President Vicky Mantegazza, Luca Gianinazzi's boys will first hold a technical session and then play a two-team match that will be open to the public. The players will wear the new Preseason black and white jerseys with clearly recognizable names and numbers, designed this year by Guess, Fashion Partner ofHockey Club Lugano.
Besides enjoying the coolness of the track, fans will be able to satisfy their curiosity and see the new faces on the roster: from foreigners Joey LaLeggia, Arttu Ruotsalainen and Michael Joly to Swiss Jesper Peltonen, Leandro Hausheer, Lorenzo Canonica, Matthew Verboon and Cole Cormier.
At the end of practice around 11:15 a.m., as per tradition, fans will be able to freely descend onto the ice to take selfies and collect autographs from their favorites.
For the occasion, Club'41 will offer a breakfast with coffee and gipfel at the special price of three francs and alternatively at the end of training an aperitif with Aperol Spritz at the price of seven francs.
