Eight players from the Sezione Giovanile of Hockey Club Lugano are part of the Swiss youth national teams called up for various events in August.
The defenseman Fabio Bissig and the forward Alessandro Domenichelli (both born in 2009) will play in the Four Nations Tournament in Füssen (Germany) with the U16 team. Alongside them as a backup is Leno Näser (forward).
The goalie Yannis Zambelli, defenseman Niccolò Castiglioni, and forward Ryan Bizzozero (all born in 2008 and pictured) will participate with the U17 team in the Five Nations Tournament in Piestany, Slovakia.
The forward Gioele Pedrazzini (born in 2005) will compete in the Five Nations Tournament in Zug with the U20 team under the guidance of head coach Marcel Jenni. Finally, the forward Anton Besanidis (born in 2007) was on standby for the U18 team during the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup in Edmonton.
