Five members of the Hockey Club Lugano's Youth Section have been selected for the various upcoming events involving the Swiss youth national teams.
Forward Alessandro Lurati (born in 2004), one of the key players in the highly anticipated U20 Elite Championship Final this coming weekend in Fleurier, will participate with the U19 National Team in the Five Nations Tournament in Poprad (Slovakia).
Forward Gioele Pedrazzini (born in 2005) is included in the initial selection of the U18 National Team coached by Marcel Jenni in preparation for the World Championship, which will take place from April 20 to 30 in Basel and Ajoie.
Forward Leonardo Domenichelli (born in 2006) has been called up to the U17 National Team for the Five Nations Tournament in Pilsen (Czech Republic).
Defender Elia Pedrotti (born in 2007) will take to the ice with the U16 National Team at the Five Nations Tournament in St. Pölten (Austria).
Forward Shaira Lovecchio (born in 2007) is part of the U16 Women's National Team that will compete in the U16 World Championship in Hungary from April 18 to 23.
