Castiglioni and Ziegler Called Up for Swiss Youth National Teams

Six players from the Youth Section of Hockey Club Lugano have been selected for upcoming youth national team events in December.

Goaltender Yannis Zambelli (reserve) and defenseman Niccolò Castiglioni, both born in 2008, have been called up to the U17 team, which will participate in the Six Nations Tournament in Vierumäki, Finland, from December 12 to 15.

Forwards Moreno Ziegler and Sevan Ferrari (reserve), born in 2009, are part of the U16 National Team, which will compete in the Five Nations Tournament in Chomutov, Czechia, from December 26 to 30.

Forward Gioele Pedrazzini (born in 2005) is listed as a reserve for the U20 team, which will head to Canada on December 11 to prepare for the World Junior Championships in Ottawa over the New Year.

Finally, forward Ferdinand Humer (born in 2008) has been selected for Austria's U17 team, which will play two matches against Slovakia.
