Eight HCL Youth Players Called Up for National Team Duty

Eight players from the Hockey Club Lugano Youth Section have been selected for national team duties in April.

Forward Leonardo Domenichelli (born 2006) will play with the Swiss U20 team at the Five Nations Tournament in Rovaniemi, Finland. Defender Simone Cavadini (2006) has been named a standby player for the squad, now led for the first time by Jan Cadieux.

Cyrill Henry, a 2007-born forward, has been selected by the U18 National Team for a training camp in Cham in preparation for the upcoming World Championship.

Goaltender Yannis Zambelli, defender Niccolò Castiglioni (standby), and forward Ryan Bizzozero (all born in 2008) will represent Switzerland U17 at the Five Nations Tournament in Chomutov, Czech Republic.

Finally, Fabio Bissig (defense) and Leno Näser (forward), both born in 2009, will take part in the Four Nations Tournament in Neumarkt, Italy, with the Swiss U16 team.
