Sensitive to the dramatic situation that Mesolcina and Vallemaggia are experiencing due to the severe weather in recent days, Hockey Club Lugano and Hockey Club Davos have decided to join forces to concretely support the two valleys in their reconstruction efforts.

The commitment of the two clubs will involve two games in September where the black and white team and the yellow and blue team will face off on the ice.

During the friendly match to be held on Friday, September 6 in Davos (starting at 7:30 p.m.), the proceeds from ticket sales will be entirely donated to Mesolcina. The two clubs will each bear 50% of all costs related to the organization of the game. Further initiatives will be decided in the coming weeks. In collaboration with the company Ghezzi Viaggi SA, HCL is particularly working on providing free transportation for fans who wish to accompany the team on this special occasion.

The first home match of the National League will instead see Lugano and Davos face off on Thursday, September 19 at the Cornèr Arena (starting at 7:45 p.m.). With the valuable help of the Fans Club HCL Vallemaggia and Lago Maggiore, a fundraiser will be organized on the ice in favor of the municipalities of Vallemaggia affected by the tragedy. The black and white club has also decided that the entire proceeds from the auction of the jerseys worn by the team during all preseason friendly matches will also be donated to Vallemaggia.
