Morini Will Miss the Start of the Season, Liekit Reichle on Loan

Two weeks before the 2024/25 regular season debut, Hockey Club Lugano announces that forward Giovanni Morini will not be able to take the ice during the initial phase of the championship due to the aftermath of a femur fracture in his right leg sustained last January. His rehabilitation is proceeding as planned, but a return to competition is not expected before the international break in November.

For this reason, the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Biel for the loan of 21-year-old Swiss-Thai left winger Liekit Reichle (186 cm, 86 kg) until November 2, 2024.

Reichle, who grew up in the ZSC Lions youth academy, has been regularly called up to the Swiss youth national teams, with whom he played in both the U18 and U20 World Championships.

Last season, he appeared 29 times for Biel in the National League (7 assists) and 27 times for Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss League (15 points).
