Hockey Club Lugano has decided to auction off the special jerseys worn by its first-team players during last Saturday's game, January 20, 2024, played at the Cornèr Arena against Bern.
The proceeds from the auction will go entirely to the Ticino Cancer League, which, in collaboration with HCL, raised awareness before and during the evening about the importance of prevention for early diagnosis of breast cancer.
The set of auctioned jerseys, black with special pink inserts, includes the jerseys of all the players who are part of the team, including the Top Scorer jersey and those of players who did not take to the ice due to technical choices or injuries.
The jerseys worn during the game show small signs of wear which, as usual in this context, add "added value" to the collectible item.
The auction will start on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM and will end on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the same time.
The starting bid is set at CHF 150.- with a minimum bid increment of 10 francs.
